What is the earning potential for a Massage Therapist?
Earning potential varies greatly, depending on the desire of the therapist. A therapist's income may range between $15 per hour and $100 per hour. Some employers split the hourly fee with the therapist. For example, the therapist might receive 60% of the price charged for the massage.

Where can a Massage Therapist work?
Massage Therapists may work in many locations, such as health/fitness clubs, chiropractors' offices, doctors' offices, pain clinics, hospital wellness centers, resorts, cruise ships, hotels, spas, beauty salons, sports teams, dance companies, corporations, offices, out-calls, fairs and festivals. Many Massage Therapists choose to be self-employed and to work from home or their own offices.
What are the State Board requirements?
The Texas Department of State Health Services Massage Therapy Registration Program requires that you successfully complete a 300-hour Massage Therapy Program from an accredited massage school.
